Dear Friends and Patients,
We are very excited to introduce our new office manager Annette Hess, BSN, RNC to our practice. Annette’s previous position was as an administrative clinical nurse manager at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital Birthing Center and Special Care Nursery. Our obstetricians have had the privilege to know and work with Annette at Henry Ford for 11 years. Annette describes this as the longest interview in the world.
Annette holds a BSN degree, RNC Nursing Certification, and carries other certifications including an International Certified Childbirth Educator (ICCE), plus numerous awards and honors. She is published and has been a national speaker. Annette brings over 25 years of diverse experiences to our practice. She looks forward to continuing her career at Women’s Health by building relationships and achieving best outcomes and experiences for each of our patients.
At 15, Annette took a tour of labor and delivery as a candy striper. This experience made a great impact on her and started her on a mission to empower and inspire women. Annette faced infertility and a miscarriage and at age 27, underwent a radical hysterectomy. Her own life encounters and education allow her to share and give back to other women who face challenging experiences. Annette believes in a collaborative approach to meet the needs and to provide unconditional support to help women of all backgrounds attain the proper care and resources they desire and require.
In her free time, Annette loves spending time with her husband, two adopted children, three step-children and one grandson.
Annette looks forward to meeting and hearing from you. She encourages patients to share how Women’s Health impacts them both good and bad, so the practice can continue as a leader in women’s health. We must continually improve and change to meet these goals. If you wish to speak with Annette, please contact our office.
Sincerely,
Women’s Health
