Her previous experiences include working as an educator for 32 resident physicians withing the TriHealth Medical System, Cincinnati, OH, time as a clinical assistant professor at Ohio University and adjunct clinical faculty at the University of Pikeville, Kentucky. She completed her residency at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan.
Dr. Marcotte specializes in minimally invasive procedures such as vaginal and laparoscopic surgeries. These surgical procedures are done with only small abdominal incisions or none at all. Her goal is getting you through your surgery and recovery quickly and get back to living.
Her skill set includes:
- vaginal hysterectomy (removal through the vagina without abdominal incisions)
- laparoscopic hysterectomy (removal through the vagina with small abdominal incisions)
- laparoscopic management of pelvic issues such as ovarian masses and endometriosis
- urinary incontinence and pelvic floor prolapse (bladder or rectal bulging manage vaginally, often with no abdominal incisions)
- endometrial ablation
- IUD insertion
In addition, Dr. Marcotte is happy to help you with your pregnancy, menstruation issues, pelvic pain and adolescent care.
