I have had the privilege of providing health care to many of you for more than 40 years. Unfortunately, my dear wife of 50 years, Loretta, has developed Pulmonary Fibrosis, a disease for which there is no recognized treatment. Pulmonary Fibrosis takes as many people annually as breast cancer does.
It is now time for me to devote 100% of my energies to her. On April 10, Loretta received a lung transplant at the Cleveland Clinic and at this writing remains in stable condition.
It is my hope that I will be able to rejoin my colleagues at Women’s Health and Menopause Center as Loretta improves. These are the professionals with whom I have had the joy of working with for many years, as well as training with at Sinai Hospital of Detroit. They are not only superb physicians, but also dear friends. Please feel free to schedule an appointment with any of these fine physicians by calling 248-932-9223.
Take care of yourself and those around you, and if you have a free moment (and it is your thing), please say a prayer for my Loretta.
I wish you health and happiness.
Sincerely,
Seymour Ziegelman, M. D.
